Dog training is not just about getting your dog to perform a few behaviors on cue. Training builds a relationship, respect, and strengthens your bond with your dog.
Desiree will provide you with a kind, practical training plan and be there to support and guide you every step of the way. Classes are not only about training your dog, but teaching guardians how to best communicate with their dogs without using fear, submission, and intimidation.

Training Options & Pricing
Private Training
$150/hr
One-on-one lessons to work on any training or behavioral issues. After the first consultation, sessions can be done in quarter-hour increments for reinforcement. Virtual training available.
Attentive Walking Boot Camp
$200/week
One week of walking sessions with Desiree to teach your dog to walk with you without pulling. Five 15-minute sessions plus a video follow-up so you can learn your dog's new skills. Can be paired with overnight stays.
Group Classes
$250
Paused for now
Six weeks of one-hour classes with a set curriculum in a group setting. Intermediate classes work toward the CGC exam. Classes run on a rotation schedule.
Day School
$575/week
We come to you. Desiree visits your home for a 45-minute session each day and teaches the basic skills a well-mannered dog should know, right where your dog lives.
Private Classes
$575
Five weeks of 45 to 60 minute classes with a set curriculum of basic training, at your dog's pace.
Board & Train
$575 / 5 days + boarding
Same as Day School while your pup is boarded with one of our sitters or at your home.
Training FAQs
What training methods do you use?
Only positive, reward-based methods. We never use punishment, prong collars, or intimidation. Every session is fear-free and science-backed.
Is my dog too old or too young to train?
A dog is never too young or too old to learn. We tailor the approach to your dog's age, energy, and needs.
Do you offer virtual training?
Yes. Private Training can be done virtually, which is great for reinforcement or when an in-person session does not fit your schedule.
What is the difference between Day School and Board & Train?
With Day School, Desiree comes to your home for a daily session and your dog stays with you the rest of the day. With Board & Train, your pup boards with one of our sitters, or stays at home, while receiving the same training.
How do group classes work?
Group classes run six weeks with a set curriculum, and intermediate classes work toward the AKC Canine Good Citizen exam. Group classes are currently paused, so reach out and we will let you know when they return.
